WSDCc/MAWN/FIN-2026-04
Issuing Authority: WSDC Council Board & Martial Arts World Nation (MAWN)
Status: Ratified & Enforced
By order of President WSDC and the WSDC Council, the nations of Bangladesh, Nigeria, and Nepal are officially classified as Suspended within the World Nation Rankings. This suspension is a mechanical result of non-compliance with the Unified Global Certification Protocol (UGCP) and represents a final administrative action to preserve the safety and standards of international combat sports.
| country | Strategic Category | Violation | Mandatory |
| Bangladesh | Integrity Zone | Administrative instability; “Taekwondo Scandal”; marginalization of elite athletes. | Immediate dissolution of illegitimate sub-federations and full reinstatement of excluded talent. |
| Nigeria | Technical Zone | Lack of digital transparency; absence of certified high-performance infrastructure. | Integration into the Global Athlete Passport and establishment of a WSDO-certified Science Lab. |
| Nepal | Compliance Zone | Technological lag; non-submission of verified tournament data within the 30-day window. | Implementation of electronic scoring and Grade B international officiating standards. |
Restrictions: The WSDC has formally notified the consulates of the United States, China, and Japan. Professional P-1 and Athletic Visas will be systematically denied to representatives of the suspended federations until the status is cleared.
All international development grants and infrastructure funding for these three nations have been moved to a protected Escrow Account managed by the WSDC & MAWN Founding Agency Kabir Group. Release of these funds is contingent upon a successful UGCP audit.
Any athlete from these regions competing under a neutral flag will receive the lowest possible seeding, regardless of past performance, due to the decay of national ranking points.
Recovery Roadmap
Independent Audit: National Sports Councils must undergo a third-party audit to ensure zero-tolerance for corruption.
Standardized Training: Minimum of 15 coaches per nation must complete the MAWN International Master Class.
Modernization: Fully integrate WADA-compliant drug testing and certified safety equipment in all domestic events.
Regional Cooperation (MoU):
• Bangladesh & Nepal must sign MoUs with India for neuro-psychological and high-performance testing.
• Nigeria must sign an MoU with South Africa for similar sports science laboratory access.
The World Sports Development Committee reaffirms that the exclusion of these nations is not a punishment, but a standardizing measure to ensure that all global martial artists compete on a level, safe, and transparent playing field.
Next Review Cycle: October 2026.
